It's a staple of superhero comics. Clark Kent is sweet on Lois Lane, but Lois only has eyes for Superman. Hal Jordan digs on Carol Ferris, but Carol'd rather get with Green Lantern. The Argentine comic Cybersix...does it slightly differently. (Note, no official English translation of Cybersix exists - this is a scanlation from a French edition by a fellow named PharmaDan, so there are a few translation and editing glitches.)
The following pages are NSFW, due to nudity and sexual situations. Quite a bit the former, in fact.
A brief history of Cybersix, so the following stories make sense:
Cybersix is an artificial being, created by the former Nazi scientist, Dr von Richter, who fled to South America (presumably Argentina, though it's not specified) after the war. When von Richter had the entire Cyber series destroyed for being too intractable, unit 6 alone survives, rescued by one of von Richter's slaves. When her 'father' is murdered keeping von Richter's men from finding her, she flees. While trying to figure out what to do, she runs across a crashed car...everybody inside - a family named the Seidelmans - is dead...luckily, their son, Adrian is carrying ID, about the same age as Cybersix, and bears a striking resemblance to her...so, she buries Adrian far from the car, and claims his identity.
Years later, during the day, Adrian Seidelman is a literature teacher in a school in the bad part of the city of Meridiana, while by night, Cybersix stalks the streets of Meridiana, where she attacks Technos (creations of von Richter, who replaced the Cybers), draining them of Sustenance (the life blood of all of von Richter's creations) to...uh...sustain herself (and, coincidentally, protect the city from von Richter's machinations). Supporting characters include Data 7, another of von Richter's less loyal creations; Adrian's best friend, Lucas Amato, a science journalist and teacher who works with Adrian, and is fascinated by, and in love with, Cybersix; and Lori, one of Adrian's students, who is in love (or, really, lust) with him (oh, if only she knew...).
In order to retain some semblance of consistency with the text (and not making a certain part of this post a completely confusing mess), I'm going to use the feminine to refer to Cybersix As Cybersix and the masculine to refer to Cybersix As Adrian. Also, I'll simply be referring to them as Cybersix and Adrian, respectively. >_>
Shortly before the following chapters, Lucas admitted to Adrian that he was in love with Cybersix, and would like it if her visits with him were not so short - specifically, that she'd stay the night, because...well, artificial or not, she's a woman, and a beautiful one at that. This was enough to prompt Cybersix to put aside her fears about being a 'monster' and admit to herself that she had feelings for him, to, so on Christmas, she (in the guise of Adrian) buys him a gift...

Ah, poor Data...but, given what Cybersix is planning... So, she parkours and swings over to Lucas's apartment...

Ouch. ;_; (Although as sorry as I feel for Cybersix, there, her faces are kind of adorable. >_>)
A few days later, Lucas and Adrian are having their usual meal together, when Adrian comes out with a story.

So, he tells a story about Lori's gang (a bunch of guys who have the hots for her) kidnapping him, so she can seduce him. Which is fairly similar to how Adrian and Lucas met - except, then, they were going to beat him up for rejecting her. And, he rejects her again. So...

(Lori's possessed of a surprisingly perky bosom, considering its size relative to her frame... ... ANYWAY!)
So, Cybersix decides to escort Adrian home, commenting on the fact that his apartment is so like Lucas's. Upon the mention of Lucas, Adrian puts two and two together:

So...Cybersix and Adrian talk for a bit, and...

Adrian tells Lucas what Cybersix saw in the previous chapter. Lucas is upset, and explains, he was with a woman named Rebecca Limon...

(The untranslated French is, roughly, 'I remember well why we broke up...')
So, Lucas tells a story about how Rebecca told him about a story she'd managed to catch on film - a group of racists murdering poor black children, so that they wouldn't grow up to be 'delinquents'. Lucas is less impressed by this than Rebecca would have liked:

So, Lucas gets his notes back, kicks her out, and vows Never Again.
So, he and Adrian finish their meal and leave the restaurant...

... Never has a man been so happy to have his best friend jealous of him, and worried he'd steal his girlfriend.
All in all, a clever use of the Two Person Love Triangle, both on the part of Megila and Trillo, and on the part of Cybersix.
It's not made clear if anything in the story that Adrian tells Lucas (aside from the obvious fact of Cybersix seeing him with Rebecca) is actually true. I suspect not, but, then, counting on Lucas not confronting Lori and telling her to stop having Adrian beaten up, and thus finding out she didn't do it this time, is probably a major gamble.
4 pages from chapter 10, approximately 4 from chapter 11, both 12 pages long.
